Alston Solutions established in 2012, with a mission to assist companies in focusing on its core business while facilitating the connection of all the other “pieces” of its business that provide efficiencies. Its founder and managing partner, Collette Alston-Powell, has decades of work history with the some of the world’s largest banks and hospitality services having cultivated relationships with hundreds of clients across the United States. She is well adept at understanding the business needs of clients and increasing their profitability through business analytics, process improvement, purchasing management, and overall business structuring.

Collette holds an MBA in International Business and resides in Charlotte, NC where she actively participates within the community. She has served in various government appointed roles with the City of Charlotte and the County of Mecklenburg as Vice Chair on the Privatization & Competition Advisory of Charlotte (PCAC), and as board member of the Waste Management Advisory Board of Mecklenburg County. She also currently serves as the President of the African American Caucus of North Carolina.
